Beyond our sight.
There is the intricate fabric of life.
Beyond our hearing.
There is sobbing of creatures in
persecution.
Beyond our understanding.
There is a world which trembles
on the sea of human ignorance.
Beyond our pity.
There are some who exist for the
greed of destruction.
Beyond our knowledge.
There is the reality of the
fragileness of life.
Can we see beyond ourselves?
To the scars hidden all around?
Can we hear beyond ourselves?
To sorrow that pleads so deeply?
Can we move beyond
understanding?
To flee wrong endeavors?
Can we feel beyond the pity?
To notice the shame of selfish
progress?
Can we discover beyond the
knowledge?
Finding life, not just destroying?
Can we reach beyond ourselves?
To our hearts and realizing that we
and the earth are woven together?
